American jazz keyboardist Adam Holzman (born 1958, New York City)has played with a wide variety of notable performers and bands - often working as their producer and arranger at the same time.
Being the son of Electra Records founder Jac Holzman, Adam was introduced to the music industry early on. His skilled mastering of the piano led to a recording gig with Miles Davis for his 1985 "Tutu" album. Holman stayed with Davis for four years, eventually becoming his musical director. In the early 1990's, he founded the band Mona Lisa Overdrive, which subsequently changed his name in Brave New World. In his career as a recording and touring musician Adam has worked with Robben Ford, Marcus Miller and Ray Wilson, to name a few. The last couple of years Holzman is touring with prog rock sensation Steve Wilson.
Adam is also part of the band of his wife, The Jane Getter Premonition. When in Holland he loves to play solo gigs.
Mr Bowler is very proud to be his agent for these gigs.
